On 24 June 2025, Taisu Ventures successfully completed its first Community Connect initiative. This initiative is part of our ongoing effort to foster meaningful, ground-level engagement with the communities around us.
The goal of Community Connect is simple yet powerful: to step beyond our everyday work and build genuine ties with the people around us. Through this initiative, we aim to contribute directly to causes that strengthen our social fabric and promote inclusive growth.
During this activity, our team stepped into the Jurong West neighbourhood, delivering warm meals to seniors who are homebound or have limited mobility. More than just meal delivery, the initiative sought to offer moments of human connection—often a rare but vital experience for the elderly living alone.
Split into two teams, our volunteers delivered over 35 meal packets across several HDB blocks, navigating the neighbourhood on foot and via public transport. Each stop was a reminder of the importance of empathy, care, and community in our fast-paced world.
This experience not only deepened our understanding of the challenges faced by vulnerable groups but also reaffirmed our belief that corporate responsibility must be rooted in action and shared humanity. At Taisu Ventures, we are proud to align our values of inclusion, respect, and collective impact with initiatives that serve a tangible social good.
